Why is the Bible becoming less and less important in people’s lives?
On November 13, 2003, Back to the Bible launched a new division of its ministry called The Bible Literacy Center (BLC). Here, researchers are conducting surveys and gathering data about Bible reading habits and hindrances. The question they are addressing is simple: “Why do so many people own Bibles and so few read them?” At the Center for Bible Engagement, they not only want to know why, they want to know how we … how you … how all of us can work together to move people toward a vibrant relationship with God.
